Waterfront Seattle is a momentous civic project that will transform the 2-mile stretch from Pioneer Square to Belltown into a 20-acre vibrant park. Friends of Waterfront Seattle is the not-for-profit established to work with the City of Seattle in ensuring the project’s long-term success as a beautiful, safe, and lively public destination.
Friends of Waterfront Seattle invites you to soak up summer on the waterfront at Hot Spot, taking place in the existing Waterfront Park between the Seattle Aquarium and the Great Wheel. Relax in Hot Spot’s bistro-style seating or partake in Hot Spot’s free cultural and community programs while enjoying stunning views of Elliott Bay.
Be a part of the transformation. Visit our Support Us page to learn how you can help us realize the vision for our new central waterfront.
Waterfront Space is open! Come visit the project showroom for Waterfront Seattle at 1400 Western Avenue, between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays.
Visit our Blog to read why Jordan Monez is excited about Hot Spot, a new activation project launching this summer in the existing Waterfront Park, featuring a pavilion designed by UW Architecture students.
Enjoy summer on the waterfront at Hot Spot in Waterfront Park!
